Dr. JacobDr. Jacob Ivey

Dr. Jacob Ivey is originally from Quitman, MS. He received his Bachelor of Science in chemistry from the University of West Alabama, and his Doctor of Optometry from University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2006.

As a student of UABSO, he was a member of Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society, American Optometric Association, Fellowship of Christian Optometrist and Student Volunteers in Optometric Service to Humanity. Dr. Ivey received the VSP Excellence in Primary Care Award, Gas Permeable Contact lens Award, University of Alabama at Birmingham Deans Award and the BSK Honors Award for the highest GPA. He has been a partner in Louisville Eye Care and Noxubee Eye Care with Kent Stribling and Gil Davis since 2009.

He and his wife, Audrey, currently reside in the Clarkdale community. He and Audrey have one daughter Paisley Jaden Ivey and one son Asher Brantley Ivey. Dr. Ivey enjoys fishing, hunting and landscaping in his spare time.


Dr. GilDr. Gil Davis

A native of Louisville, Mississippi, Dr. Gil Davis is a 1986 graduate of The University of Alabama School of Optometry. He began his career in an O.D./M.D. practice in Georgia before returning to Mississippi to purchase The Newton Eye Clinic in 1989. Dr. Davis resides in Newton with his wife Jerri Anne. They have four children Taylor, Anna Claire, Justin and Leigh Leigh. He enjoys all outdoor activities including hunting, fishing, and riding motorcycles.

Dr. KentDr. Kent Stribling

A native of Philadelphia, Ms., Dr. Stribling is a 1983 graduate of UAB School of Optometry. He has been in private practice in Philadelphia, MS since 1983. He has been a partner in Louisville Eye Care with Dr. Gil Davis since 1999, to be joined by Dr. Jacob Ivey in 2009. In 2008 Dr. Stribling was awarded Mississippi Optometrist of the Year by the MOA.

Dr. Stribling resides in Philadelphia with his wife Mitzi. They have three sons Taylor, Tyson, and Trent. Taylor and his wife Andrea have a daughter, Hallie Grace. He enjoys coaching youth sports and hunting.
